Library Volunteer Help Wanted
  • Are you sixteen or older?
  • Are you looking for a creative way to give back to your community?
  • Are you interested in tutoring English as a Second Language (ESL) or GED?
  • Do you have a hobby, interest or talent you would like to share with others?

Then join the Library as a volunteer!

Volunteering
Interested persons may submit a completed Volunteer Application and Waiver form online, by fax (972-412-6153), mail, or in person to our Library Volunteer Coordinator. The coordinator will contact you to discuss scheduling and what volunteer opportunities you might like to pursue. Volunteers at the Rowlett Public Library do a variety of jobs including assisting with programming, shelving and GED or ESL tutoring. Call 972-412-6161 if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.

Programming Opportunities
If you have a hobby, talent or interest that you would like to share with others, contact the Library at 972-412-6176. Our Program Coordinator will contact you to discuss potential programming opportunities with the Rowlett Public Library.
