The Rowlett Fire Rescue Honor Guard exists to provide honor and dignity to its members and their families through the recognition of ceremony and tradition.

About the Guard
The Honor Guard consists of 13 members from various ranks within the department and exists primarily to honor fallen firefighters in the event of a line-of-duty death (LODD).

The Honor Guard provides other services to the department as well. From time to time, the Guard will facilitate special events such as memorials, promotional ceremonies and parades.

Fallen Firefighters Memorial 2017
Every October, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation sponsors the official national tribute to all firefighters who died in the line of duty. This year, we had three of our members attend; Battalion Chief Chris Ensley, Captain Brent Sandlin, and Firefighter/Paramedic Jeremy Morphis.

Our goal is to represent all members of Rowlett Fire Rescue with the highest degree of professionalism, honor and dignity possible. If you would like more information on the Fire Rescue Honor Guard, email Commander Chris Ensley or  Vice-Commander Jeremy Morphis.

Our motto in Gaelic is "Bràithrean ceangailte le onair," which translates to "Brothers United in Honor."
