If this is your first time submitting an online application, you will need to create an account and select a username and password. After creating your account, you will be able to login and build an application. This application will be saved so that you may use it to apply for multiple jobs without having to create a new application each time. Resumes and other pertinent information can be sent as an attachment in the online application process. This is a secure site, and only authorized City employees have access to your information. Although all applicants who meet the minimum qualifications are considered, those candidates whose background, experience, and education are most closely related to the position may be considered first. Not all applicants will necessarily be interviewed.
An employee whose DPS driving record is evaluated with a score of six (6) or more demerits in the last three (3) years (5 years for a DWI violation) will be removed from driving and placed in an available position in the department for which he/she is qualified and offered the position. If no position is available, the employee may be terminated.
