Pamela Bell was elected in May 2017. She is a native Texan, born and raised in Dallas, and has been a resident of Rowlett for over 21 years. She retired from GTE/Verizon and has been a realtor with Coldwell Banker Apex, Realtors LLC since 1996. Pamela has two children, Kevin and Kimberly, and three grandchildren, McKenna, Brielle and Lennox. She also has one fur baby, Jada and three grand fur babies. Pamela is active in her church, Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church in Garland. She enjoys making quilts and going to her granddaughters' games.
Pamela is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in Management and Employee Relations. In addition, she is an active volunteer within the community, a graduate of Leadership Rowlett 2010, a member of Volunteers in Police Services (VIPS), the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), she serves on the Board of Directors and is an Ambassador for the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce and formally was the Chairperson for the Rowlett Senior Advisory Board.
Pamela's primary interest is to improve communications with the citizens of Rowlett and the City.
