Minimum Requirements
|
-Paramedic certification from the Texas Department of Health or NREMT-P with 15 college credit semester hrs. from an accredited college with “C” average or better.
-Texas State Certified Firefighter/ TDH - EMT, with 15 college credit semester hrs. from an accredited college with “C” average or better, or
-Currently attending a TCFP certified recruit academy to include TDH-EMT training and currently having 15 college credit semester hrs. from an accreditied college with "C" average or better.
-Must be 21 yrs. of age on the date of the physical fitness examination.
-Must successfully complete all phases of the employment process as scheduled including a written examination, physical agility test, polygraph examination, oral interview and stress test.
-All positions require a clear background, clear pre-employment drug screen, valid Texas Driver’s license and safe driving record.
