Holiday Schedule and Pick-Up Information IESI does not collect refuse on Thanksgiving or Christmas. Residents whose trash pick-up day lands on either Thanksgiving Day or the Friday after Thanksgiving will have their trash and brush collection delayed by one day.
IESI will be closed Thursday, December 25th and Thursday, January 1st, 2008. Trash will be collected the following day after your regularly scheduled pick up day.
Poly Cart Refuse Collection IESI generally uses trucks with automated arms to empty poly carts. Residents should place all household trash inside the poly cart and close the lid. Please have poly carts out by 7 A.M. on your collection day next to your driveway with the lid opening toward the street or alley. Trash may be picked up at any time between 7 A.M. and 6 P.M.
Please place poly carts at least three (3) feet away from any obstacle such as a mailbox, fence, or gas meter. All trash should be bagged to prevent spillage. Please do not blocks alleys, sidewalks, driveways or roadways with refuse poly cart, recycle poly cart, brush or bulky items. IESI also asks that you put your poly cart on one side of your driveway and your recycle poly cart on the opposite side. This will prevent the recycle poly card from being knocked over or damaged as the driver uses the truck’s automated arm to place the poly cart back down after emptying it.
Residents occasionally find that they cannot fully close the lids on their poly carts because of the large amount of trash being placed in it between collection days. If such a situation arises regularly, residents should contact IESI at 972-475-3600 and order an additional poly cart. Rates for residential poly carts are listed below:
1 Poly cart $14.95 2 Poly carts $22.43 3 Poly carts $29.91 4 Poly carts $37.39
Residential Recycle Collection IESI collects recycling material once per week on the same day as your trash collection. Please have recycle poly cart out by 7 A.M. Recycling may be picked up at any time between 7 A.M. and 6 P.M.
