    The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) web site offers extensive information about road conditions and transportation issues in Texas. Use this web site to find information about registration and titling, public transportation, educational resources for children, news and legislation, travel in Texas, and up-to-date information and images of roadways and intersections across the state.
  • Texas Lemon Law
    Provided by the Texas Department of Transportation, the Texas Lemon Law web site makes available information about the Lemon Law, informal and formal procedures for filing a complaint and hearings, and online forms. Some information is also available in Spanish.
  • Texas Department of Public Safety
    The Texas Department of Public Safety provides a number of online services. Use this site to renew a driver’s license, to search conviction, sex offender, and missing persons records, to renew a handgun license, to track stolen commercial or farm equipment, to print DPS forms, and to access general information about the DPS.
  • Driving Rules on the Net
    Driving Rules on the Net includes online study guides for student drivers and commercials drivers, with special tips for parents, teens, and new drivers. Links to driving rules for Australia, Great Britain, Germany, and Ireland are also provided.

  • Insurance Institute for Highway Safety

  • National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
    Use the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration web site to find tips for buying a safer car, recalls, service bulletins, and information about the “Stop Impaired Driving” campaign. Quick links to popular sections of the site are listed on the left side of the screen.

  • Car and Driver
    More than a supplement to the magazine, Car and Driver.com presents an extensive features section (including auto show schedules, road test results, a classic car time-line, an automotive glossary, and more), a buyers guide with options for search by specific vehicle or vehicle types, as well as a community section with searchable forums.
  • Smart Car Guide
