Summer Reading Club 2008
Texas Reading Club Jubilee
1958-2008
Youths from age 3 through high school are invited to join the Summer Reading Club at the Rowlett Public Library for summer reading pleasure, entertainment from professional performers, free movies on a big screen, and the chance to earn prizes.
The program is offered at no charge to participants through the sponsorship of the City of Rowlett, Friends of Rowlett Public Library, Inc., local merchants, and the Texas State Library.
Registration begins on Tuesday, June 10th, and the program runs through Saturday, August 2nd. You can win great prizes and coupons for each 5 hours you read, up to 30 hours.
Programs for School Age Children:
Tuesdays at 2 & 3 p.m.
Programs for Teens:
Wednesdays at 1 & 2 p.m.
Movies for all ages:
Thursdays at 2 p.m.
