RESIDENTIAL GREEN BUILDING PROGRAM

City of Rowlett Goes Green!!!!
The Rowlett City Council approved a Green Building Program on February 6th, 2008 by adopting the Environmental Protection Agency Energy Star Standards for all residential buildings and structures in the City of Rowlett.
All structures built in subdivisions platted after February 5, 2008 shall be required to comply with the Green Building Program.
The Residential Green Building Program sets the minimum standards for energy efficiency, conservation of water, indoor air quality and waste recycling for single-family residential buildings.
