About Rowlett

Welcome to the official City of Rowlett website, Rowlett.com.  Here you will find a wealth of information about City services, programs, events and activities.  We hope you are able to quickly and easily find what you are looking for and we would appreciate any comments or suggestion you may have on improving this valuable resource. More>>>

Our goal is to make Rowlett.com a convenient “one stop shop” for our citizens and customers. It is about meeting the demands of today’s hectic lifestyles and the opportunity for citizens to be involved in local government. From home, work or on the go, residents are able to conduct business instantly or find information that previously took a phone call, a visit to City Hall or a stamp.

I encourage you take advantage of all of the online services including, water bill pay, our E-news subscription service, recreation registration and one of our most important communication tools, the Citizen Action Center. Through the Citizen Action Center, you may submit concerns, requests, suggestions and complaints online to City staff 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Once your request is submitted, you are able to track the status of your request until the issue is resolved.

Increased participation in city government is one of my key goals. Get involved. Attend public meetings and hearings, volunteer your time on boards and commissions or take advantage of the many volunteer opportunities offered throughout the City of Rowlett. In the coming months you will be seeing much more information on Rowlett.com about opportunities to get involved in your city government.

We also want to operate an open, transparent government. All of the City Council agendas are posted on the web site on the Thursday before a Council Meeting so you have access to the exact same information the City Council does in its entirety. This allows you to stay informed on issues and challenges facing our City.
We also invite you to tune in to RTN16, the City’s cable access channel 16. Here you will see a new show I host called “Rowlett On The Move!” Each week City Manager Craig Owens and I discuss many of the City’s projects, programs and initiatives, and occasionally invite guest hosts to join us. Rebroadcasts of the City Council Work Sessions and Council Meetings are aired on RTN16, and you will also find much valuable information 24/7. Click here for a programming schedule of RTN16.

Please feel free to email your City Council or contact any member of the City of Rowlett team.  On behalf of our citizens, city staff, and City Council, thank you for visiting Rowlett.com.
