Spring cleaning? Brush & Bulk Pickup and free Landfill Pass information

Brush and Bulk Pickup Information:
  • Please place brush and bulky waste in front of your house, between the curb and sidewalk, by 7am on your trash collection day.
  • It cannot be piled on top of the water meter access or in front of a fire hydrant. 
  • Make sure there is not a vehicle blocking the access.
  • FCC will pick up bulk items from a minor remodel, classified as replacement of a ceiling fan, light fixture, faucet, etc.
  • FCC will not pick up any type of construction debris(examples: tile, porcelain, mason, remodel materials).
    • Customers will need to contact FCC for this type of pick up to have a roll off delivered at the customer’s expense.

  •  Appliances will be picked up as long as all fluids have been  evacuated.  Examples (not all inclusive): HVAC, Window Units, refrigerators, freezers must have refrigerant removed, lawn equipment like weed eaters, edgers, hedge trimmers must have all oil or gas removed.

CM Hinton Landfill Pass Info
Rowlett residents are also allowed to dispose of debris at no charge at the CM Hinton Landfill twice per calendar year. Residents must first obtain a "Landfill Pass" from the City of Rowlett by presenting a valid driver’s license and current water bill at Public Works (4310 Industrial St.), Utility Billing (4004 Main St.) or the City Secretary’s office (4000 Main St.).
